[DEVELOPER QUALIFICATION]
Start local. Add commercial capability when needed.
Use the local path to prove the artifact, then add governed delivery when customers depend on the generated file.
Free is for proving the artifact.
Use the local packages or MCP server in the workflow you already own. They do not require a hosted key and they are the fastest way to learn whether Runstamp produces the native file your product needs.
Inspect format-specific evidence: PPTX, DOCX, XLSX, and PDF. Each contract separates the Free outcome from the paid hosted path; the evidence page links the corresponding downloadable native artifacts.
Pro adds hosted rendering and delivery.
Pro includes the authenticated hosted API, durable delivery, brand packs, and standard support. Platform adds higher hosted volume, priority support, and commercial embedding rights.
| Decision | Free | Paid path |
|---|---|---|
| PPTX outcome | Native editable slides, templates, and charts | The same engine through managed rendering and delivery |
| DOCX outcome | Pagination, tracked changes, compare, and conversion | The same engine through managed rendering and delivery |
| XLSX outcome | Formulas, repair, quality reports, and templates | The same engine through managed rendering and delivery |
| PDF outcome | Typography, signatures, PDF/A, and linearization | The same engine through managed rendering and delivery |
| Local engines | PPTX, DOCX, XLSX, and PDF packages | Same Apache-2.0 local engines |
| Local MCP | Generally available; no hosted key | Generally available; no hosted key |
| Where it runs | Your runtime | Your runtime / agreed deployment |
| Hosted API | Not included | Included with Pro and higher plans |
| Commercial motion | Proof and qualification | Pro and Platform are self-serve; Enterprise remains contact-led |
| What this does not promise | Managed delivery controls | No automatic VPC, SSO, SCIM, Word template, or cross-format certification claim |
What happens when delivery itself becomes the product?
Start with Pro for hosted rendering and delivery. Choose Platform when the workflow also needs higher volume, priority support, or commercial embedding rights.
